Well, I fear I have embarked on another knitting slump. It was probably inspired by the loss of my second ball of yarn for the daughter's socks. Not being one to miss a sock yarn purchasing opportunity I immediately ordered a replacement. And then because one doesn't want to pay shipping charges for one measly ball of yarn I ordered a few more balls. Simple practicality that. But it hasn't arrived yet.
So now what? We're heading off on vacation next week and I expect some unfinished socks will come with me, but I intend to play it safe and pack my needles in my checked luggage. There's also a remote possibility that I might bring the Adamas shawl I started last spring. Either way there is going to be some poolside knitting. And once the weather warms up here I intend to spend more time knitting al fresco.
