How to tell if you're not knitting enough

As I reported somewhat recently, I lost a ball of sock yarn on a trip to Windsor, Ontario. This week I found it in Orlando, Florida. How can that be? Because it was in my tool bag the whole time. If I had been doing any knitting at all it would have jumped up and bit me and I wouldn't have had to order a replacement. The upside is that since I was ordering a replacement anyway I ordered a whole bunch of other yarn to sit in my stash and never be used.

Now that the good weather is here I'm determined to start knitting again. Tomorrow I get to work on two pairs of socks that have been sitting around for eons.
