save me from my sock yarn

My name is Kathryn and I'm a sockyarnaholic.

I have a Rubbermaid bin full to bursting with sock yarn. I cannot snap the lid on any more. So guess what I ordered from my beloved Knit Picks this weekend? Not one, but two (2) of their sock yarn samplers.

I should mention that I was on the KP website because I have suffered a second Options malfunction. The infamous metal connector has separated from its life partner on one cable (so far) and one Harmony tip (so far). I have emailed customer service. I understand they're very good about sending replacements.

Oh, I met the Finishing Fairy this weekend! I learned something important about her. She doesn't actually do the work for you. She just pokes you repeatedly in the ribs until you get off your flabby knitter's butt and do it yourself. So thanks to her prodding I finished off the chullo hat, the fingerless mitts and a baby hoodie. There are pictures but my camera is not close at hand at this moment. Next post, I promise.

I have resumed work on the socks I started last summer at the Stitch & Pitch. Must make room in that sock yarn bin.

In case it isn't obvious, my inner knitter is back from the brink.
