Status Report

Just to prove that there is some knitting going on around here (though not as much as there should be), I present Wallaby the Second in Bernat Camouflage.

I'm knitting this for 10-year-old daughter and making size 10, so you can understand the pressure to make this thing wearable before the next growth spurt. And therefore I will at this time proclaim this Wallaby to be The Project Of Note for the next...well, until it's done.

Then what? I am approaching the heel on the long-neglected magic loop socks. I do not hate magic loop but I do not love it. I am determined to finish these socks on the circ and then I'm going back to my DPNs.

And you know there are a whole lot of shawls lying around in various stages of completion. I've started the edging on the anniversary shawl, apparently now named Mandala, but am miffed that I made a stupid mistake and have a tiny yet somehow glaringly obvious hole between the body and edge. I should probably rip back but I'm afraid of losing some of the body stitches and so have decided to leave it.

I really should finish the Adamas for older daughter once the Wallaby is done. I don't remember how far I'd gotten but as I recall it was pretty quick going.

The Halloween shawl, barely started, is staying in hibernation until I get some other stuff done. Maybe it'll be done for next Halloween.

And that is all the WIPs/UFOs I have room for in my tiny brain right now. Onward with the Wallaby.
